Can you do a tutorial on how to retro fit type r afternarket hoods on to other 10th gen civics. I heard it was the hinges or the latch or both.

You have to cut the latch off and either remove it and use hood pins or rotate it 180 degrees and bolt it back in. The hinges are fine.
