Casual VS Speedrun in GTAV #7 - Technically Boring

Episode #7 of casual vs speedrun in gta v - There are lots of "technically" boring missions in this one, but the tricks that the speedrun call pull off make them more interesting than they ever were designed to be.
I tried to fix all the issues with audio and video from last episode and im pretty happy with it. The pixelation was a bit fuzzier than i intended is all, i will render out a preview before committing to a fuzz method next time, though I can't think of anything i'll want to remove later in the run like that. Just playing it safe this episode.
I'm probably going to have to make some kind of spreadsheet to stop everyone asking "jfdsjbfsdj will you be speedrunning X game?". yeah i'd like to do every (ok, almost every) game for casual vs speedrun one day but i only have so many hours in my life lol. It currently takes about 12-16 hours per episode + the 600 hours I already had spent practicing/running/studying the speedrun + 3000 hours in the game before that.

I am playing as both the casual player and the speedrunner, so it's like facing against myself with a 10 foot pole. For the casual player, I play the game as if I've watched a GTA V speedrunner play the game once or so, so I know the mission order and where to go between missions, then play the missions as the game instructs you, giving the most shockingly average gameplay you've ever seen.

For future reference. Who knew I could complete a game in 6 hours rather than pacing myself turning it into a month long thing spending 48 total hours? Let's get real now, all GTA games are 80% driving from A to B and back, and waiting for missions to spawn. Nice to know how to cut that time by a third.

Was waiting for this: the crane was a fecking nightmare for me, took me 10min to get that stupid mini-game done, and I'm not even stupid myself, was wandering what would the very pro casual do with this mess, and was not disapointed, casual had to figure out controls. If you have aim+fire drive by on you can use the mouse to steer. It works best in first person but makes your steering smooth if perfected. It dosen't work on bikes well though.

@@FriendlyBaron Yeah, I find that it works better with slower vehicles, for you're less likely to crash and its easier to steer them. I don't speed-run, so for casual play it works fine for me.

im happy you got top three in gta v speedruns. since you share the knowledge for new speedrunners to try their luck. from this so far you got me trevor% in 1:29.64 but i didnt record it since it laggs my game up. i used to do trevor% in 3:01.29 before this guide series

I get horrible rng with prolouge franklin part. Im doing the normal path and some car explodes by lamar and fails me
