Regarding the wrecking crew stage: The reason you can't get a star KO probably has to do with the fact that the normal hazards-on version of the stage has the whole gimmick of the building falling down, which takes up a pretty large chunk of the background. As for custom stage backgrounds, they're just still 2D images. Obviously the final destination background doesn't animate, but the flags in the arena background don't move, as an example.

Hey I recently found a random smash fact! In the Master Hands fight, when he throws the spike boulders at you, you're able to pick them up and throw them! When my friend did it, they were invincible from respawn intangibility. I don't know how easy it is to do it without it. I have video proof of you need it too! The custom stage backgrounds are technically not the exact same as what they're based on. Since they're just jpegs of those stage backgrounds. I'm sure that you can't get a star KO on wrecking crew because it carries over that data from its original form (not Omega or BF) And it would make sense that its disabled there because most of the stage is covered up by the wall behind the players. So you would not be able to see the Star KO clearly. And Moray Towers possibly because you clip through the buildings? Also, about items going through portals, I tested some things and I only found that Link's bomb, Diddy's banana peel, Wario's bike, and Villager's tree stick item go through portals. As well as pretty much every normal item that randomly spawns.

If k rool uses downb on Thwack, hero will be hit by a counter hit box instead of the reflected thwack. This does not happen for other projectiles (Yes thwack is a projectile), and is evidenced by the fact that hero is killed off the blast zone instead of by thwack at high percent.

Basically, the rocket begins under Villager as he starts the animation, but as Villager moves on to each frame he moves further away from the rocket. For the bit about custom stage backgrounds, they aren't actually the same BG, so the Star KO thing makes sense. The stage backgrounds are usually fully modeled, while the custom stage backgrounds are actually pre-rendered - they're a picture of the background from the regular stage, not the actual background.

1:00 I know this is like 4 years old, but I think I actually know what's going on there! When a smash character walks, it uses a funny system where the position of the character is actually put into the _animation_ itself. Like there's a special bone in the skeleton near the root that gets translated during certain (but not all) animations with movement. The idea is that once the walking animation gets to the end, it snaps the character's "actual" position to the position of that bone, completing the illusion. It's certainly a little odd, but it would explain the loyd rocket moving like that. As the walking animation progresses, the character's visual elements move away from the root bone as that special "motion" bone gets translated, snapping back once the loop finishes. Normally, you can't see this, since there's nothing visual at the root of the model, but if say... a glitch snapped the loyd rocket onto the root bone, then you could see this illusion for what it is. Now, from what I just said, you may be wondering why the _rocket_ looks like it's moving instead of the character. Well, that's just because Villager is at the edge, so the game adjusts his position dynamically to prevent him from moving off the side. The net effect is the root bone moving instead of the visual elements. Now, to be completely honest, I only really remember this from Brawl modding back in the day, so I don't know for sure if it's the exact same in Ultimate, but I feel like it should be similar. Also, though weird, I think this was done so that the artists could get full control of the motion of a character during certain animations without having to worry about syncing up momentum changes and forces and the like.

The way you tie is to choose s.p smash choose the flower on the head and have 10 hp then you die at the same time. Sudden death will happen and you have 1 hp you still have a flower so you die at the same time. See what happens

Characters have different times for them to shield break. I tested using the Fighters Pass characters, and these were my numbers, not including the 1 frame of starting lag. I ran out of time to extrapolate to the other fighters and I don’t have piranha plant. Numbers are from when the shield goes up to the first frame of the shield jump. Joker: 324 frames Hero: 332 frames Banjo-Kazooie: 323 frames Terry: 332 frames Byleth: 335 frames

About Palutena guidance, Codex and co. : -when morph stage is on, the stage change will wait until the end of the taunt or guidance. -it cannot occur in classic mode or spirit battle simply because there isn't any battle with the right characters and stage. Besides... I'm a hero main.

Smash bros fact: if you play on an omega stage with Fox and Falco and use Falco's "get off my pray" taunt and down smash right before he says "pray" your mom will yell at you from across the house. This has to be done while your tv is at full volume Edit: the effect seems to be delayed when there are guests over but it is also enhanced.

A random smash fact: mii sword fighter's side b called airborne assault puts the fighter in free fall, but if you jump early enough, you don't end up in free fall

Hey not sure if you've covered this but a random thing i noticed recently is that, while normally Ryu, Ken, and Terry don't lock into facing opponents in free for all matches, they WILL face the opponent in 2v1 matches, and I'd assume any other number of teammates so long as there's only 1 opponent on the opposing team.
