I know it's an old video, the series ended, stuff like that, but I have to mention this because I good giggle out of it. One of Simon's victory animations is him jumping and whipping at the same time. This is a reference to Castlevania 1 on the NES. In that game once you defeat a boss, a red orb appears. Once you touch it you're unable to move with the D-pad but you can whip and jump. As a lifelong Castlevania fan I really got a kick out of that one!

Kirby is by FAR the most powerful character in smash from a lore perspective, so him surviving Galeem makes perfect sense
