Here he goes on another ignorant anti-rightwing rant. Handing out free needles to facilitate the individuals decision to engage in drug use is not a legitimate use of government.

Yet drug enforcement is? Inwas a heroin addict the government didnt hand out free needles and naloxone the church's did. Where I live there is no government ran needle exchange. They are funded threw government the money is as far as it goes. It also let's people stay alive threw their addiction and possibly get clean . My wife and I made it threw addiction alive without hep c or aids because we had fresh clean needles, didn't get infections and die, also they give naloxone and teach you how to use it when they give out needles, my wife OD from heroin we were 50 mins from a ambulance even showing up thank god I had naloxone and I saved her. We got clean shortly after and have stayed clean now for 6 years. I have a good job and a kid, the only reason I and her made it out alive is thanks to the needle exchange.

I agree. Virgin needle distribution should be a 100% free market affair. Government should not facilitate nor prevent such efforts, such as they may be.
