If you have karma to spare and want to skip the chance of getting shards in Silverwastes, then bulk buying obsidian shards from the karma merchant that spawns after the meta event in Straits of Devastation is also a good option. Since karma is given to you like candy in the game XD

Another easy way to get them is unbound/volatile magic in living world season 3/4 maps. You can get one for 100 magic, which is pretty good if you don't find much use for those currencies.

theres a video here on youtube that shows that converting into clovers per 1 is better then per 10, mystic clovers always from chests from wvw and/or pvp reward chests, the final chests.i wish i could help you out with the GoB but im on the otherside bro

Holy shitty fuck I thought that the leggy starter kit only gives u the precursor omfgg. I have tons on materials thanks to the might and magic jade protocols, volatile magic and lorels, map completions are easy, already did 2 so basically 4 gifts and I've been sitting on so many mystic coins and clovers and obsi shards lastly for gifts of battle it's basically the only reward track I do fo WvW... I have bought all leggy SK now u explained clearly how easy I can make leggy weapons thank you sooo much
