@slapdashzeal60956 жыл бұрын
I don't get the Euler's number.
@rever42176 жыл бұрын
it's for exponential growth usually denoted as e with a power of x, (e^x). It's just another type of trendline that shows how something changes over x (time for e.g.). Linear is the most simple relationship as it's just a straight line. Euler's number is an infinite series that caps out at about 2.7, hence why it's used in the vid. What makes e^x unique is that its slope is its value (e.g. x=3, slope=3 (goes up by 3 for every 1 you go across)). Hope that helps!
@slapdashzeal60956 жыл бұрын
I kind of over thought it, it just happened to fit in since its represented with a e like symbol.
@thehiddenninja34285 жыл бұрын
@@slapdashzeal6095 That too But seriously, e is special and appears everywhere. e = lim ( 1 + 1/n)^n [n -> infinity] d/dx (e^x) = e^x e = sum ( 1 + 1/9 + 1/25) (might be something else) e^ix = cos(x) + isin(x) So of course it appears in the chance of meeting a specific person

flog353 Any recommendations for an mmo that would be worth putting time into?
@flog3537 жыл бұрын
honestly, thats a difficult question. i've played most big ones, and stopped with all for some reason or another. GW1 was amazing but it's dead since years sadly. GW2 is great if you like WVW (big siege fights with castles and stuff, fight lasts a full week so you have to sort night defence and so on, really fun) but it lacks endgame PvE like raids, and is VERY grindy for top-tier gear. WOW is better than it was a few addons ago, but it made me loose interest, even if i cant put my finger on why exactly. might be worth a look tho if you enjoy PvE and PvP since it still is one of the best regarding raids (if you find a static group, which can be difficult if you dont play 24/7). i'm currently playing FF XIV after i stopped playing it a year ago, and it's probably the one i'd recommend the strongest because it is solid in all aspects and has some really great mechanics like 1 char that can have all classes, which you can swap anytime on the fly, but still have to level them all seperately. only real downside is login queues on full servers (on all servers on weekend-afternoons) and raids only have a groupsize of 8 (although there are 24man raids, but they are built around 3 8man groups and rather casual). if you have any specific mmos in mind or are looking for something with a specific playstile/element i would happily try to be more specific in that regard =P TL;DR: GW2 if you like WvW and can live without endgame PvE, else FF XIV

Sorry, but I’m confused - do we have to show work for both formulas, or can they be simplified to H = OPELESS where L and S are equal to 0?
@willjohnson45794 жыл бұрын
Taking the nope in conjunction with hope; the chances of finding your one are 99.3% the chances of a given person not considering you as there one are the same therefore the chances of two people meeting and considering each other the one are 0.69%/year for a given pair, which is pretty nice

"the one" isn't a pre-existing entity, it's something that emerges out of your efforts from nourishing your relationship
@9nikola5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but you still need compatible personalities, languages, sexuality, etc., and "the one" refers to someone who meats the general criteria, but yeah, a relationship won't work unless both parts are at least trying to hold on to and nourish their relationship. If there was only one "the one" for each person, the chances of even having a chance of meeting them would be close to zero, so this video is completely in line with these facts ;D

I did a dating Bootcamp and was told a similar formula. Basically 1/20 women that you’re attracted to will be in love with you (assuming you’re conveying your real personality to them). And you’ll be in love with 1/20 too. So you need to talk to 400 (20x20) to find someone where the love is mutual. If you’re in a big city and go out often you should be able to talk to 400 girls every month.

It's an old video but I'll say I lost my virginity at 26 yo, after meeting THE ONE. I had to go to Japan to meet the girl I was texting in a language learning app, in a 20 hours trip to meet the love of my life. Just wanted to encourage everyone, you'll eventually find her guys, just take care of your looks, don't be a shithead and just be happy with yourself. People will be more attracted to you if you love yourself.
