Sir at 36:55 how can we be sure that P1's final score will be equivalent with his final score maybe his final score improves hence we can't calculate final score of broze, silver and gold medalist

he did not explain how P 10 is 4th , that can be inferred from its double score. rightly said. brilliant set.

Sir in javelin throw how can P8 get a double.. coz in round 3, p6 p3 p2 p4 throws after p8 as p8 improved in round2 .. so p4 is only last in round3.. and p8 is first in round 4 how could p8 gets double.. pls answer
@RakeshKumar-oq5ev2 жыл бұрын
That's also my doubt I don't know what to do now 😂
@rajatyadav24662 жыл бұрын
Being last in round 4 ,P8 is the first one to throw in round 5 because in second phase players throw in decreasing order of their rank and therefore P8 got the double
@srijeetsingh22432 жыл бұрын
HE MADE A MISTAKE THERE ACTUALLY . P8 WAS THE LAST TO THROW IN ROUND 3 AMONG THE CURRENT PLAYERS ( THIS IS MENTIONED IN THE BRACKETS ) AND HE THROWS FIRST IN ROUND 4 SO THAT IS A DOUBLE .

As Gold , Silver, Bronze medal winner must be 3 distinct person . (according to given condition that gold and bronze medalist improve their score in 5th and 6th round respectively ) then in the 4th round the person can only be the silver medalist so all three person making improvement must be distinct , how come same person make improvement twice.
@vipuladarsh6965 Жыл бұрын
it doesnot says distinct person, watch again

sir I have a big doubt in javelin throw question why didnt you consider a scenario in which increment was 0.2 and 0.4 and hence top scores be 88.6 87.6 86.6? and also in r4 r5 r6 the person scoring 88.6 can throw an invalid throw and hence score 0 and getting at rank 6 and then he will be the first person to throw the javelin in the subsequent round? I did not understand these 2 points please get back
@SonTomNetwork Жыл бұрын
Throwing the javelin first in the second phase has no bearing on the scores. For R4, it can be deduced that P8 would be the first one to throw, and nothing more is needed.
@SonTomNetwork Жыл бұрын
For your first doubt, the gold player had to improve twice, which means 88.6 had to be overtaken by increments. If the player with 88.6 had improved even once or twice, then no situation forms.
@karatechang1714 Жыл бұрын
We know that 3 ppl cannot have improved as their score differences would remain unchanged by adding the same number. So only 2 have improved meaning one has improved twice. P9 cannot win a medal as the gap between P1 and P9 is too much. P1 cannot show improvement because then either P5 or P7 will remain unchanged and the 1.0m condition is not satisfied. As the first ranker P1 HAS to win a medal even if 2 show improvement and surpass him. The medalists' scores differ by 1.0m, so the decimal place is 6 so this also means that P5 and P7 have to show improvement because their decimal is not 6. Hence P1 is the one who showed no improvement. From statement 4, we know that the silver medalist is the one who has not improved - only the gold and bronze medalist have improved. Hence by the transitive property we know P1 is the silver medalist.

In Set 1, Q08 is not reviewed by Bimal, why is it marked as created by SME? I think this is a mistake.

see that point it says bimal review q06 through q09 it means he reviews 6,7,8,9

If p10 score > 87.2 then how come silver medal goes to p1?
@srihasithananduri Жыл бұрын
It is said in question that P8 or P10 do not win any medals. so P10 should be in 4th place
