Hey, thoda discipline laana padega. Social media ka ya time waste karne ka toh koi end hi nahi hai. Apps uninstall kardo, ya phone ko room se bahar chhodd aao. Friends ya family ki help le lo to keep yourself from wasting time. Joh bhi tumhare liye kaam karein, but yeh time vaapis nahi aayega toh acche se use karo. Reels toh baadme bhi dekhne ko mil jaayenge!

Hi,mam currently I am doing my under-graduation, my second year classes will start from tomorrow and my course is of 4 years. So mam my question is what is the ideal time to start my Cat preparation from zero as I do not have any basic knowledge of all the subjects such that I complete the basics of all the subjects,have good understanding for the same, give mocks and get 99+ percentile.
@mbawithprachi3 ай бұрын
Heyy, you can start preparing gradually in your 3rd year. Learn the basics, improve your calculation speed, start solving puzzles, develop a reading habit - things that will help you eventually when you start preparing. Once you are in your 6th semester or an year away from CAT - you can start completing the syllabus. As of now, focus on building your profile - participate in club activities, get a position of responsibility, do some extra-curricular activities. This is really help you during your placements :)

Hello di, thank you for replying my previous quarry........I hv some other quarries 1. I have done diploma duration of 2.6 years after my 12th standard and now I am in my final year of graduation. So will my 2.6 year be considered as a gap year? If no then how can I put those details in CAT registration? 2. I am in my 7th sem but still my 6th sem result has not been published. So can i do CAT registration?
@mbawithprachi3 ай бұрын
Heyy, my pleasure :) If you have done a diploma after 12th, you might not be able to add it to the CAT form as they give the option to add 12th marks or Diploma marks. Gap years don't matter in the application, so don't worry about it. As for graduation marks, you can fill the marks till 5th semester for now. :)

Hello didi , Mai na daily RC solve karta hu and mere 3,4 question sahi bhi ho jate hai but jese hi mock deta hu 1 hi ho pa raha hai ? Iske liye kya kare didi ? Kya aesa sirf mere sath hi ho raha hai kya ?
@mbawithprachi3 ай бұрын
Heyy, sabse pehle note down the time you take to solve a RC during practice vs mocks. If time is the issue, work on your speed. Also, make sure ki you are choosing the easy sets properly. Practice se hi improvement aayega. Mocks ya sectional tests dete raho so that easy RCs select karne ki aadat ho jaayega aur panic bhi naa karo under pressure. Keep practicing bas, this is common ☺️

@mbawithprachi3 ай бұрын
Hey, it would depend on the kind of problem. Try to solve a few sets/p7zzles maybe be in your own language and then you'll know if you're getting stuck because of the language or you need to change your thinking pattern. :)

Being a CSE graduate should i focus on GATE CSE rather than CAT for better salary and growth ?
@mbawithprachi3 ай бұрын
Hey, totally depends on whether you like coding or not and what are your career goals. If you can foresee yourself coding for the next 10 years, GATE would be a good option. However, if you want to take up a managerial role - MBA would be better for you. Being a CSE graduate, you can try Product Management as well :)

Hi, Ma'am, I graduated in 2023 after that I worked in my family business (sole proprietorship of my father) , to be honest I was not 100% regular but most of the time yes I am regular, the most important question is I received remuneration by cash, definitely I do not have traditional salary slip or joining letter, I could arrange Experience letter or certificate with business seal (I am not sure may be it is not enough or what). Although the salary is low but still I have filled ITR in A.Y. 2024-25, and it is also verified by the Income Tax Authority within 1st August 2024. Will this be enough for work experience proof??? And someone has suggested me to take my salary in bank from now onwards and issue salary slip to myself with business stamp, thus I will have 3 salary slips till CAT...is it possible? As you were in Placement Committee of IIMC, you could help me out, PLEASE tell me ma'am.
@mbawithprachi3 ай бұрын
Hey, sorry for admission purpose, since CAT considers work-ex till 31st July - you would need to produce 3 salary slips dated before 31st July mentioning your joining date or an offer letter mentioning your joining date. For placements, you don't need your ITR or salary slips - a simple offer letter/ experience letter would suffice along with someone verifying the points you will mention in your CV as per the institute standards (you will get the exact information once you join the college). Hope this answers your question :)
@ChandrakantaGhoshOfficial3 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for your reply.. Just one more query, is it possible to create salary slips from May to July, now?? But please note that salary was in cash... Please reply to this also if possible 🙏

Hi,I have 5 years work experience, will it be better to go for CAT or try for GMAT?
@mbawithprachi3 ай бұрын
Hey, you can either opt for GMAT (if you want to settle abroad/ don't have financial constraints) or you can go for an executive MBA as well, that would also help :)

@mbawithprachi2 ай бұрын
Hey, try to figure out problem kis step pe hai and then solve for it - attempt rate kaisi hai and accuracy kaisi hai. Attempt rate increase karne ke liye practice more and learn to identify the easier RCs. Accuracy practice se hi improve hogi. Will post the upcoming video on RC techniques, so stay tuned! It might help you :)

Didi, my 10th score 38% or my 12th score 63% now I'm currently studying economics 3rd year Am i eligible for IIM Calcutta Me humanities ka student hu mujhe konsa kam karna chahiye work experience ke liye.
@mbawithprachi3 ай бұрын
Hey, yes you are eligible but given your previous academic grades - you'll have to work really hard. As for work-ex, as long as you have a full-time job, offer letter and payslips, it doesn't matter what you do. Anything works :)

@mbawithprachi3 ай бұрын
Hey, start from the basic articles (easy marked RCs or Mint articles). Take your time reading and summarizing them. Do this regularly and start reading more. Starting me what you can do is - whenever you read something think about what it means in your mother tongue. Gradually, once your comprehension skills improve - do away with translation. Give it a shot! :)
