Crazy work around cables. This is how fibercut happens.
@Vidarsteinsland7 ай бұрын
hello and nice of you to comment here🤩👍. But I can assure you that no cables were damaged on this job. Although it looks a bit brutal. They withstand more handling than we think. But if you look closely, there is a lot of clay in the bucket which is an assurance that the cables will not be damaged when I do it this way. I've been digging for cables and other strange things in the ground for 40 years, so I think I know my job😀

@@Vidarsteinsland I've heard that excuse more than dozen times after having to hurry to patch fiber when people take shortcuts, handling guidelines are there for a reason.
@Vidarsteinsland2 ай бұрын
@ZeSpektrum Yes, guidelines are there for a reason, but it is not always possible to follow them🫣. Here in Norway, the fiber cables were badly laid in the ground. Those who dug fiber had per meter they dug and then the quality of the work was so-so. But as you can see in this video, it's mostly going well😉👍. After all, I have done nothing but look for cables and dig trenches. So I mostly know what works when you have this type of job🤩👍

They started drilling these steel pipes into the ground before I got there because there was such a tight and poor space there. We got a cable surveying company to survey where the cables were. But we had to dig out some places to find out where some cables crossed the street. They used a well drilling machine for the job of getting these pipes down into the mountains. These pipes are drilled 6 meters down. we had full voltage on all the power cables when we dug out this street😵💫. But it went well and I have done this many times before🙄. And we have a wheel excavator on this job too to take care of the small thinks🤩as you can see on the other videos from this job😀

@Vidarsteinsland8 ай бұрын
First, I have to say it's nice to receive questions here🤩👍. It is true that I have 4.27 tonnes in the bucket. This blue clay we have here in Norway is extremely heavy😮💨. I have actually had over 5 tons at most in the bucket shown in previous videos. What you have observed is correct, that the weight loaded onto the lorry appears on the left.

@@Vidarsteinsland I drove trucks myself for some time, including steel coils, and was always very impressed by how a relatively small coil that nevertheless weighs 22 tons can bring a truck to its knees. The reason why I don't load the trucks from the side is that there is no room for it and I would then have to close the street and load over our fences and we are not allowed to do that here due to safety.
