Put 1 on a trailer and go down a mountain with switchbacks rated 20 mph for a car you really find out how heavy it is and if you're lucky and unloading at the bottom and they get PD to shut the road down long enough to get down so you can leave the blade on you really got to be on your toes and hit your marks on the switchbacks I personally love my cabovers in the mountains so I have a better view of keeping the tractor tires on solid ground and use every inch of the switchback

Casey, your knowledge and experience of heavy equipment is amazing, and it only added to what is an excellent video. I appreciated the final information about the sprocket and that it's in segments, so it's not a major issue to change it out. Between Quinton's video and yours, the two of you made a very informative and interesting video of the time spent. Kudos to both of you, and shout out to the guys that work for Quinton for a job well done.

When I went through a four year apprenticeship as an operating engineer I used to help out at the training center for more experience. We saw so many machines that had been um, roughly used in the field. I'd love to watch more of Quinton's videos but it brings back sad memories. The companies only made money from results, and maintenance got overlooked sometimes. I'd be running a rubber tired hoe and find the steering to be so loose you could turn the steering wheel a half circle before anything happened. That particular hoe steering fell apart in the middle of a highway and was dragged off. I always wanted to fix things right. A big conflict that probably meant I should have just changed jobs. At least the Iron King seems to do excellent work!

Having great equipment is important. Smart creative people made it work, using an old forklift some blocks of wood and a couple rims. The versatility of the Zacklift continues to impress me. The operator almost looks like he knows what he is doing. I do think 15 people 4 trucks and a helicopter would have done it better...maybe a smoke machine to add drama.

One of my favorite videos. Love the shenanigans you in Quinton get into and I'm impressed at what he and the Iron king guys are doing to keep these machines running. And I'm glad you got him a replacement 🍩 donut. I legit felt bad for the guy after you ate his😅 But guys, PLEASE wear safety glasses. There were a few times in this video and some of Quinton's other videos when i cringed at the lack of eye protection. Take it from a guy who has had 2 steel fragments removed and is now partially blind in his left eye, because my safety glasses were on my hat instead of on my eyes.

I find it interesting a) how well communicatwd everything was, because b) the more you scale up on stuff like this the more it becomes a very inteicate and slow dance of small, deliberate things. Used to be that way for us (nowhere near this scale, clearly) putting casons and coloumns of rebar in at sites. If you're not in control of the lift, it can have terrible consequences. Both the guys who got hurt during my time took years to get to walking. Clever work as always.
