My Dad drove these in the 80s for a company in Nevada. Somehow it went over the embankment when dumping and he died.

Just think all that bigger Equipment since 2014, and very few have seen any pay raises or bonuses either. No contract in like seven years. Now they are on strike. Maybe this company will sale the mine and things will get better!

That's a 35,000 gallon tank on that truck. It used to be my bid truck. It's got more holes in the tank than spray heads right now. Good ole 503

My plan was to use a tripod, but when I got it out one of the legs fell off. Next time I go back there should be some better less shake video.

It burn to much fuel to be cost effective. As long as the trucks aren't short dumping you can use a d10 on a dump with this size of truck

I agree. Its literally hell operating these waste dumps even in a D11 some days with the size of trucks coming at you and the rate that they come at you. Hell.

Great company to work for I love working here there might be some negative things said about this company that is probably from a union member they just need to remember that there in the spot they are in because they choose to be this is a great company

@@bradg523 First of all, there ARE NOT "HUNDREDS" of new hires. Second of all, I can tell you've never worked for Grupo before. Third of all, DON'T GET TOO COMFORTABLE in there. We'll all be back and all of the "hundreds" of scabs will go to the bottom of the seniority list at best. Most likely you'll be looking for a new job!

No it's an old 170 tonne haultruck retrofitted. The 170 tonne truck was like twenty years old at the time.
