I operate the model dozer in northern maine. I always make the truck drivers dump the load 3/4 the way up then pull ahead and spread the rest . You dont have to pull any back to start your cut and also pushes alot faster and you can control the edges better. I have to remind the truck drivers every day to do this because every day is like the first day for them !! Haha

Down here in Florida,that type of grader blade is fairly common,because the idea of construction is to get the water to drain to the sloughs and water courses! The grades are very important for that reason,and the flat land makes it imperative! The other factor is compacting the soil,as rocks are not very noticeable! Is he using the Auto function on the GPS? Or is it grading stakes? If he is he might not have to back drag...Nice dozers btw
