The chuck wobble was probably more or less the collet giving it the illusion on all the tools. Anyways thanks for watching. Get subscribed and leave a thumbs up and lookout for the live tool test tonight at 6:30 est.

I ended up getting this cat from Costco Canada for 299 with two foreign batteries. The carry case, the DX71 and the hammer drill as well which is the DX12 so far. I really like them. I was going to replace my Milwaukee set but they suggestically increased especially with the fuel lineup looking over 500 $600 Canadian so far. This is really nice and good notice. A little bit of wobble in the bed but other than that the battery lasts me pretty decent time

Hey James. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! It’s a nice product for sure the hammer drill looked intriguing to me as well. How’s that working for you? Also cool you snagged them at Costco. Great price on them also. Hope you have a great day!

I bought this as a combo set with the DX12 and DX 71 for $99 in Home Hardware. Came with total 2 batteries and a case. Didnt think too long with thay price. For home use, should last me plenty of years.

That’s an awesome score! How long ago was that? And thanks for the comment and watching!

@@signops1 nice! Yeah I think once people realized it’s just rebrand worx tools with the cat name on the side everyone lost interest. Descent tools but it’s just worx tools

I have tools with belt clips. I don't think I've ever added a clip that came uninstalled. I've actually taken one or two off. Just haven't felt comfortable on my belt. I'll definitely never where a Flex that way. They're way too heavy
@themaintenanceman1 Жыл бұрын
Yeah I’m not a belt clip guy either. For what I do I don’t need it on the hip all the time so it just gets in my way. Thanks for watching brother! And thanks for the comment! Much appreciated 🤟

Definitely not as advertised lol. It ain’t bad but I’d take rigid all day over this.

$180 is definitely pricey, you can get a milwaukee, dewalt, makita or other major brand impact driver set for less than that.
@themaintenanceman1 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely correct. For that money you can get a drill and impact and be on your way to doing great things. The hammer drill is 305$ 😱

Here in Europe Dx12 and Dx71 combo cost 180
@themaintenanceman1 Жыл бұрын
@@Ejectseat123 now that’s a lot better price then the 180$ they are charging over here just for the impact. But also it should be found in lowes and maybe at a lower price then amazon but I have yet to see them in a store near me. The lower price would make me see a little bit more value in the tool
@zackarybarlow87509 ай бұрын
What’s your favorite drill and why?
@themaintenanceman19 ай бұрын
Great question! I would honestly have to say the Milwaukee m12 hammer drill. It’s got balls and it’s compact so great for also doing cabinet work. Favorite impact would be Milwaukee m18 surge. Quiet and gives me enough power to do what I need to do. Thanks for the question and thanks for watching

Have to admit that tool and case look bad as. I might use the case as a tool box. Unfortunately I think you are paying more for the looks and brand. I initially got some dewalt vibes too.
@themaintenanceman1 Жыл бұрын
Yes 💯 paying for the name slapped on the side of it. I real shame because the potential for rockwell and worx to maybe break into like the kobalt, Ryobi, ridgid space was there for the taking. And yes the case is pretty nice. I could probably find more uses with that then the impact lol but we shall see how this thing performs tonight. Thanks for watching Pat! Have a great day buddy!

Using that CAT name to shove re-branded, old, mid to lower level Rockwell gear down our throats. Graphene batts? Not a game changer. They're not going to be a significant player in the tool game bro. Not at all
@themaintenanceman1 Жыл бұрын
💯 correct brother! Great hearing from you and your opinion is spot on! It just doesn’t have a feel of the price point they are selling at. And as far as I’m concerned any lower temp battery technology is all the same just slightly different. Thanks for watching brother! Enjoy your weekend!

His review like someone make him to do it he doesn't like the CAT tools.
@themaintenanceman17 ай бұрын
I purchased the tool myself. No one made me review it I was just interested in it. But it’s just rebadged worx brand tools so nothing to write home about. Thanks for watching.
