TheBrownIsland Exactly. Even I can't resist soft Doggy fur. My aunt has a Husky who lies down for me to rest my head upon her stomach if I don't have a pillow. Sometimes if she needs a pillow, she just puts her head on my stomach and goes to sleep. I don't move until she wakes up. :)

I used to have a dog that would sleep on my back. He would put his rear paws on either side of my waist, and his front paws on either side of my neck, and rest his muzzle against my check, and sleep there all night. I would wake up the next day with pretty bad chest pains from his weight, but *best* *sleep* *ever.* I loved that dog with every fiber of my existence. If dogs don't have a soul and people do, he can have, and should have, mine. He was a better animal than I'll ever be as a human being, or any human being I've run into so far. I don't believe in an afterlife though, but I was very fortunate to have him in mine for ths short time he existed, and what I'm starting to realize is my short time as well.

@@meh1681 I loved that dog. It has been 4 years since I was forced to euthanize him. I honestly still feel badly about that. Until you have a pet you truly care for, and loves you, you cannot experience it. I still feel pain for what I did to him. He lived to 16. I spent 16 years protecting him and I still fell awful about killing him. I used to do dog rescue. His death broke me. I adore dogs, but I don't think I can ever have one again. It was very painful to have to euthanize my dog.
