i was thinking she has that really tired death look or sickly when I saw this & just read she passed. I have a feral cat outside for yrs & she is getting that look, tired & not eating much. She has never let me touch her, she used to keep all other animals away but now she has slowed down, Ive prayed for her before & she got several 2nd winds but now I’m not sure. Also today a white calico skinny stray came sniffing at my door, I fed her & petted her, she wanted to come in but I said no. As she was leaving I held her tail slightly & she growled & warned me kindly not to do that, then she left. I wonder about this strange encounter as a sign of bitter & sweet, something has to go for something new, it’s sad 😔

My sweet calico kitty, Painted Desert (the cat that is my profile pic), had a very similar meow. She was blind and had a rare cat sickness, but lived for a good 5-6 years when the vets said that she would only live for one. My girl died on Easter Sunday, 2021.
