Thank you for the great info. My cat didn’t like pellets’ rough texture, and I was wondering about the same hack. I’m so glad that you’ve already tried it and I’s been working. Originally it is meant to disintegrate only with cat’s #1 so that it’s easy to sift and keep intact pellets, but do you just dump and renew whole thing twice a week? That might work for me, too. And it’s more sanitary. I still want to test if most pellets can keep their shape, so I’ll also try moisturizing only the surface by spraying mist. ( I have only one cat.)

This doesn't clump up like some stuff. It just breaks down. So yes, I just toss it all after about a week. I'm still using this stuff too.

Just watched this again. Wondered how quickly they took to the pellets. I think i am going to try it.

It's just saw dust and cat poop. It should degrade rather quickly. I have grass growing up through the area I've been dumping my cats litter. I plan to cover it next year and let the worms do their thing to it. Then it will make a great flower garden. I'm not a biologist though. I just try things to see if they work. Some do. ;)

Hi Cuz, just watched this again after a few months. I was wondering how well and how long it took for your felines to warm up to the new bathrooms. I think I want to try it.

It didn't take long. Having the pellets dissolved a little first made a difference.

It ***must*** be heat treated pellets and not chemical treated. This is very important! Chemical treated is TOXIC.

I did not even know there are chemically treated wood stove pellets. Seems they would not be safe to burn if they contain toxic chemicals.
