That thing seems fast! Is the single pole laser a GPS unit? What advantage is that?

That's a pole for a laser receiver. They're typically used in 2D applications.

Do you prefer a foot throttle when pushing or a hand throttle?

I don't know that I've ever used a hand throttle dozer. Are you talking about the ability to change the foot pedal over to a transmission (speed) control as opposed to a decel pedal?

Operators union will be a bit of a game to get into. You'll need to submit your application and get in line. It sucks but it is what it is. In the meantime I'd start applying to some non union companies to get some experience under your belt. That will be the quickest way to get into the industry. Thanks for watching brother! @@DieselandIron I actually have some time under my belt in this field , I went to school for two years in a building trades class and got certified in 5-6 different machines. Also went to the operators union to tour and my class got to even run all the equipment and all the instructors said I was the best out of my class to run the equipment. It’s something I’ve wanted to do my whole life and I believe if I put my mind to it I can do it. Love the videos. NM

Traveling backwards at hight speed is the worst thing you can do to a dozer undercarriage besides not washing it

Yes but you have to be practical. I'm production environments you can't afford to go half speed all the time. If you have a productive operator it is worth the extra cost to gain the speed bonus. As with everything in the industry, there is a balance. Thanks for the comment!
