Very nice work there. I also appreciate the time and effort it took to making and editing the video.

I've had a quiet week so i've had time. I don't know what I'm doing so I need a lot of time. Surely it will get easier. I can do just about any thing with Photoshop but this video editing is tough, especially the sound aspect.

I don't recall, did you mention length and size of cordage?
@plemas6 жыл бұрын
Johnny Debt I did but i should also put it in the description. It’s 5 lengths of 1.2 m x 2mm cord. It also works just as well with thicker cord though.

Will start this one today. Really enjoy your work Phil. Good to see projects using old fashioned chord.

I love the 4x4 crowning. The result looks like cable.

I agree, it's one of the most distinctive sinnets. Thanks for commenting.

I'll def bey getting stuck into one of these Philip. Well done.

Thanks Mac, I made it up as I went along and I think the order of the sinnet sections is wrong. It should be reversed, as it is with Des's Cat

Thanks Phil, gave it ago, shortened version, I'll get a pic up, not that keen on it as the 2 over sennit is really short, all going well until then, I needed to allow more length for larger diameter cheers

hey Phil could you do a quick vid on that slick way you tie the constrictor knot please..)

I'll give it a go, might take me a few days as I'm flat out taking care of the real job. I'll try to describe it here, see how you go. Make a loop, take the nearest side of the loop and push it away from yourself, at the same time pull the furthest side towards yourself. As your doing that fold them over. That's it. Good luck. I'll try to get a simple video up soon. Drop by my shop and stock up on cord while you're in the knotting mood. 😊

@@plemas I watched what you did about 4 or 5 times, and sussed it out, neat little trick man..)

It's very hard to see dark colors during a demo; it would be better to see, if light colors were used. Cameras don't pick up dark colors well.

How long are the strands you started with?
@plemas4 жыл бұрын
I didn't take notes I'm afraid but if you start with 5 1.2m lengths you should be good. Maybe a bit more for safety.
