Depends on the country. I read once that Australia wants to poison their ferals as they view them as a "nuisance"! It should be against the law everywhere, but even then, certain humans would find a way to do it. There's also the fact that punishment for doing so is likely not severe enough if it's exacted at all.

I seriously despair at humans, as Australia is a huge country, plenty of room for cats, and also keep the rat and mice population down, therefore, good for the natural eco system. But no they are out to murder them all, in the same way the US rounded up wild horses and slaughtered the lot

@@lavendermooncrystals9360 Unfortunately, cats have decimated several native species in Australia and there is no cat species that is native in Australia so the country has declared war on feral cats. The root cause of this is someone introducing cats over there at some point and then letting them become feral so it is all down to human interference as per usual. It's the same for wild boar too unfortunately and several sick people post regular videos of them shooting pigs with bow and arrow. Sad world we live in.

It's not "humanity," it's the people who lock up their own citizens and arrest a pregnant woman in front of her children for a social media post criticizing the house arrest of everyone in the country and supporting an organized protest. It's also the same people who refused to release water from a dam reservoir during heavy rainstorms and flood conditions, citing a future water crisis if the reservoir was depleted by opening the dam. And as a result of such cruel stupidity _humans were killed_ by flash flooding when the reservoir underwent catastrophic failure. Australia used to seen like a nice place, but they're totally bonkers now, if not downright evil.

They have a saying about you can't help someone who doesn't want it so maybe all those years that was the case. If it was he's probably kicking himself for not taking the help sooner. Hopefully the remaining time will be peaceful and quiet for him.

I thank all who took part in the rescue of this older cat. Including vets. Feral cats can be tamed and socialized but slowly. It takes time for them to become trusting. But they, when acclimated to a caring person it will become easier. This cat deserves a SAFE, permanent and loving forever time.

Poor darling Marmalade. I'm disgusted that his original owner pretty much discarded him when he was of no more use to him. I can only imagine the hell of all those years on the streets, and then for people to refuse to allow you to take him away because he was "a community cat", how stupid and selfish can you be to deny an animal help in its dire need? Naturally, they didn't provide veterinary care, what a surprise. I wish this dear wee boy could just stay in his present situation, where he's obviously feeling settled and secure, receiving food and love from someone, shelter and comfort, after over a decade of struggle and suffering. Such a sweet nature, too, once he felt safe. Thank you, Tiffany, and the lovely lady who managed to get him indoors, as well as the lady who is currently looking after him. Some of these videos are heartbreaking, but at least this dear boy will have some comfort and care through whatever time he has left xx

I really wonder how it’s possible that no one ever could get close enough to him to catch him and take him inside to take care of him before this one lady did get him inside. Deep gratitude for saving Marmalade's life, for however long he has, he will know he is loved.💝 He looks so much like the beautiful boy I rescued from the streets, Shanghai, and gave him the home he deserved. He had FIV but with good nutrition and tender loving care, he survived many years in my loving home. He was a very special soul, my "shaman" kitty. He will be in my heart forever and always. Adopt don’t shop!! All of my feline family are rescues. Yes yes it is a vital message to convey- on your channel dear Tiffany is preaching to the choir but if we can all share the message along with “ like” subscribe and also share with other animal lovers in each viewers group of friends… miracles can and do happen amongst wonderful people!❤ “Community cat” … but the cat doesn’t have indoor shelter and consistent care.
