It’s amazing how “doglike” black cats are. When I got my new beagle pup buddy cat made sure to make friends with her immediately. I guess cause my previous beagle didn’t care for him 😅. I think he overdid it though, anytime she sees him she goes apeshit excited. He was the only critter to be nice to her at first, it made a permanent impression.

From u.k. We had a black cat, from a rescue home. 7 yrs when we got her, 14 when she passed. Never came across one like her, so different Followed me around the house, slept outside my bedroom in the day when I worked nights! Would come from nowhere and watch me shave every time! Listen to me play guitar! And a look that would go to your soul! Ripped my heart out when she died! She was irreplaceable.

Cats can communicate with each other. I took in a stray and she ended up bringing a few others to my house and they literally expected food because she told them that's what I do. One of them insisted on coming inside and ended up living with us too. I tried shooing him away but he literally insisted! I had no choice. 😂

I had a Black Cat in my world. He did not meow at me ever. He only beeped. He liked to hunt on the roof. The second litter of his siblings had to make do without mom as she got squished in the road. They were all Black. I called the "The Heathens". After a few weeks I would come home and each of them would stand in front of me in turn and wait to be picked up and petted. They were needy unlike Beeps. Beeps would clean them and cuddle them. A great big brother. Playing with the cat toy in the front yard with 7 black cats descending upon me, made people driving by stop and watch. Everytime they were chasing me demanding more play as I was trying to go in the house. Silly.
