That cat must have built in radar! We had a half grown young Cat that would slam into the wall over and over at a mouse hole. He finally got the mouse but it took him many tries. He would stick his paw in the hole far as he could going 150 mph.🤣

Actually cats are considered the apex predator. Cats to attempt to kill ratio is better then any other predator on the planet. Cats normally kill for fun and pleasure. Not the biggest animal but sure can take alot of animals down.

They’re actually setting up their back feet so that they can sort of “shoot” out of their position when they’re ready to pounce... It allows them to become suddenly close to the prey & minimize chasing. Fkn genius, kinda like how a bull revs up his feet before charging.

jajajaja Vidal Different species of rodents. Although very similar they are different. A rat is much larger than a mouse, that is the easiest way to tell. A baby rat that is like 1 month old will be larger than an adult mouse.

I grew up on a small farm. We had cats that worked for their living. We fed them and gave them a warm dry place to sleep, and they repaid us catching mice in the granary. They never harmed songbirds or wildlife. Just the mice in the barns. A few would come and show us what they caught. Praised and petted them. No poisons !

Cat's blinking to their owners is a sign of love for their owners, and I love how this Kitty climbs after snatching his prey and blinks many times as if saying "Saw that? I caught it, how cool was that? It was cool, right?" then comes to get a petting for a job well done.

A large and hungry tomcat, that normally hunts for its food, a large rat ain't nothing but its next meal. He'll look at it, size it up and determine how he's gonna kill it, usually a bite to the neck. Its not really always about size, cats are excellent hunters.
