I just gotta say it, all newer equipment is junk due to all of the electronics and emissions crap they put on them! But you go pre emissions machines and Cat will spank any brand equipment! How many Volvos or any other brand equipment is still running from the 30's, 40's, 50's heck even the 70's! O'l Jeff is still using his equipment from the 60's and 70's daily on job's and it's more reliable than the new junk of today and can still get parts at the dealer for it generally next day, nobody but Cat can offer that kind of service. All the rest are like disposable lighters once they're to a certain point or age you just junk them. Someone had to say somethin poor O'I Tater was gettin picked on. ;-)

But yes farmers have it the worst because their profits are always so low if they have any at all and the banks won't loan them money to fix older equipment but they'll loan money on new equipment. I've seen a couple neighbor farmers lose their farms because of this because they really can't afford the new equipment. The trucking industry has it really bad the trucks spend as much time in the shop as they do on the road and you cant even buy a new glider kit anymore.

In south East Pa you don’t see many Volvo’s. Cat is big here. I ran a 700 for a couple days and it seemed slow but so does everything in that size. Love the videos, keep it up 👍🏻

Volvo all the way personally... I’d much rather be in my Volvo 380HR than a cat 336E any day.. the cats feel so much slower personally & the levers feel so much heavier & Volvo cabs are so much nicer & comfy... it’s each to there own tho we all like different machines but Volvo all Way for me 👌👍

Volvo is what Cat used to be back in the 60`s , 70`s and 80`s, Too bad they went chincy. I also like the Hitachi when they came out in the late 80`s here in Canada. I used to build roads (sewers and watermains) in new subdivisions in the Toronto area, by the way we never had computers etc back in those days.

if you have a caterpillar you just have to supply it with disel oil and filters and you will never have problems with it. volvo just can't resist for long time many problems after spending over 5000 hours

I think they are both perfect because at birth I drove a cat and its smooth and when I went to the volvo dealer a guy working there let me drive those volvos and they are pretty smooth (I didn't use the volvo for digging I just moved the arm up and down and gone forward and backward) with the cat I got to dig stuff up and it was smooth I guess I learned these skills by my dad I EVEN DROVE A KOMATSU AND A HYUNDAI these guys I met are nice to me they let me drive all of these excavators while growing up oh yeah I rode inside a koblelco and helped my dad's friend do work with the cat but the cat is in heaven so does the koblelco Here Lies - Cat 320C Here Lies - Kobelco SK200-6 I missed them I liked them at birth and in the future a bunch of excavators live a a happy life
