Top notch information...i am becoming more and more convinced that shortly after the scriptures were completed and especially after 70 ad, Christianity became more and more co-opted by philosophical power structures and urban influences...I am really glad that there seems to be a return to more pure and unadulterated interpretation and understanding...May God and Christ bring forth some more of this through willing folks like you !

Dear Bible Scribe, have watched all 4 & found them very informative. Just have a few comments re the 2 charts you put up of Arius' beliefs - 1. Jesus was not created, John 1:1 says clearly that he was there 'in the beginning with God'. 2. Yes, he gained life from the Father as he was begotten. 3. Jesus is eternal. I do not think that we, as we are stuck in time, can possibly understand the workings of the eternal outside of time, we just have to accept by faith that Jesus, the Holy Spirit & God have always existed and are One. You've helped me a lot with preterism too, for that I'm extremely grateful.

Part way through your video and it’s really great! Truly appreciate you reading all this information because I really have such bad reading comprehension anymore, if I’m not keeping my hands busy with menial tasks like dishes or laundry etc I can’t seem to focus on information. I had a quick question, you got to the part about Jesus being the begotten son, I always assumed it was through the conception with Mary through the Holy Spirit and not a time before not sure if I’m confusing what you are meaning. Like was Jesus begot in heaven? Second, you say Jesus or the son was never mentioned before the New Testament in scriptures like the Old Testament, however I have heard some pastors and other people make a distinction between The Angel of The LORD in OT and an angel of The LORD saying that The Angel is referring to the spirit of Jesus or Jesus himself. Is it presumption on my part to make the jump that The Angel became The Son in the flesh of Jesus? I apologize if you cover this, I just had to stop and comment and get my thoughts out incase you don’t touch in this I will forget. 😂 Please pray the demons of distraction off of me 😉🤷🏻♀️🙏🏻🤦🏻♀️

@@BibleScribe I agree about the schism being used by Papal Rome. As you somewhat mentioned, Constantine really seemed to favoured Arianism. Personally I think his aims with the council backfired under the sovereignty of God. Arius has also certainly been dealt with unkindly by much of posterity. There's a fascinating letter in a councils, creeds and controversies book (highly recommended series) digging into homousia etc which establishes that supposed doctrinal differences between three factions were simply linguistic, and the theological truth was actually agreed upon.

Pompei was still standing in 1632 (or Anno Domini 632 of the Millenial Reign) Several videos show maps proving this, and in Italy, there is still a stone monument showing Pompei as one of the cities destroyed in the eruption of 1633. Whereas the Roman Church seems to have these New Traditions that you can't find in the Bible. And I wonder also since all the quartodeciman writings were destroyed that maybe they also had a truer view of how to interpret Daniel and revelation. Seems odd the writings we have of early commentary is mostly what looks like guess work. Surely someone knew the proper interpretation. My guess is, the quartodecimans knew

I though Rome was the iron legs, not the feet of iron and clay. The toes tell another period of time in Daniel that takes place after the feet representing multiple nations that are equal in their strengths and weaknesses, but their strength lies in their marriages/treaties and trade deals. Legs of iron being the longest and strongest reigning empire. The feet continue with a remnant of what preceded it which too will persist into the toes.

Very interesting, but I must confess that some points of your argument seem weak. While I agree with a historical fulfillment of Matt. 24, your pointing out all the wars, famines, disasters of the Roman Empire is somewhat disingenuous as these were constant throughout the history of the Roman Empire going back to it's founding in the mid-700's BC. Additionally, going by that logic, it would seem Trinitarianism is correct because the Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantium) was around nearly 1000 years after the collapse of Rome. You may also wish to read St Augustine's "City of God" where he deals in a personal way with watching the destruction of Rome and defends against the idea that Christianity brought about the collapse. You point at Churches you claim to be Arian, but fail to point out that several of the Trinitarian Bishops at the Council of Nicaea were from these regions (St Nicholas, St Spyridon, St Hypatius just off the top my head were all from modern day Turkey). Additionally, the fallacy that the "majority is always correct" proves only that many were in error, and it took time to correct the error (through teaching and future Councils). The same thing happened during the Iconoclast era, The Church ultimately had victory over heresy. Numbers and Geography don't equal Truth. There were five major Patriarchates during that time period, not three. You forgot to mention Jerusalem and Constantinople. The overwhelming majority of Bishops voted in favor of the Council's rulings on the Creed and Trinitarianism. Even given the names you mention in this video that were against it, they were the tiny minority. I say that, not to fall into the "majority is right" fallacy, but to say the Bishops are the leaders of The Church and Christianity and their decision is/was binding for The Church. Where were all those Bishops from your red dots? You site an Arian missionary's creed, as though it holds any weight close to equal to a Council of Bishops called by an Emperor. That's your evangelical mindset talking there. You site that those who didn't agree were exiled (and/or excommunicated), though Athanasius himself was later exiled after Constantine's son took the throne (his son was Arian). The term "Homoousius" was used to describe the Council's definition of the Trinity's relation, just as "Trinity" was created by Tertullian to describe Father, Son & Holy Spirit and the "Essence/Energy Distinction" used by St. Gregory Palamas to describe the workings of the Trinity. All of the Councils dealt in some way with Christ's nature/person in defending The Truth against heretical teachings of the times, and so they needed to come up with terms, etc. to clarify. The verbiage used by both sides was nuanced, deep and confusing to the laymen and uneducated, which is why it can still be confusing or seemingly saying the same thing or close to same thing when we read it. What we must remember is that they were speaking a different language that was very nuanced (which our translations don't really pick up on), so their decision and ultimately The Creed is also very nuanced though kept simple for the sake of the Believers. Ultimately, The Roman Catholic Church would come to "rule" the west and were Trinitarian. So the "might makes right" fallacy concerning the Arian Nations ends up being false as they were ultimately defeated, as were the Arians of the East since Byzantium would continue into the mid-1400's practicing Trinitarian Christianity. You can say it's propaganda, but would be hard pressed to prove it given the "dark ages" where the Arian Nations had rule and could have stamped it out in the west. Your theory, though interesting on an intellectual level, seems to be riddled with assumptions.

How do you reckon the trinitarian conception to be a paradox? Clearly in Athanasius and modern Trinitarianism, the way in which God is one, is different to the way in which we may identify the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Is it more or paradoxical seeming to our minds than the concept of eternity?
@BibleScribe7 ай бұрын
Due to rational thinking, if "A" excludes "B" then "A" and "B" cannot be true at the same time, in the same place. God is perfection. Not chaos. The Athanasian Creed asserts irrationality with almost every sentence.

This is a way of describing rational arguments. You cannot state two things that are opposites and have them be true at the same time. It is irrational, and against nature. A rock cannot be a tree, by its nature. God cannot be 3 people and 1 person, it is a paradox. The Trinitarian argument is, of course, "well, it's God! He can do anything!" But this is exactly what Arius and the rest of the apostolic churches were fighting against. Also, they were mainly disagreeing with the dogmatism of the word "homoousian" which is not in the Bible and should not, therefore, be used to argue the nature of God. @@andrewmiles2370

Dear Brother, My question is do you know Christianity is not taught in the Bible but was the Religion of Rome where it has it's Start. Have you ever wondered why neither the Apostles Paul or John never use the word Christian in any of there writing's. Fact is that the Word Christian is used only 3 times: twice in Act's and once by Peter and it is well known the New Covenant Disciples never called them self Christians but followers of the New Covenant Way. The word Saint's meaning Sanctified Ones is the bible word used to describe the Ekklesia Assembly of the Called Out People of God. Brother it is amazing to me how so many truth seeker's do not know what the Bible Word Christ means and how important knowing Christ is not a Person but a Title meaning a Anointed Person who has been Anointed With Godly Consciousness thru and because of Circumcision of the inward Heart. The Sign of Manifesting Godly Character thru the Power of being Anointed by God the Father with the Spirit Of Jesus who is sent to Teach, Guide and give comfort as Promised in Jeremiah and Ezekiah and Gospel of John. Christ in reality is the Great Cosmic Intelligence at the Root of All Life in the Universe. Christ is the Incarnate Christic Life Force Energy that Holds together All Things created that is or will every be. Did you know the Bible teaches the New Covenant contains only One Doctrine which is the single Doctrine Of the Christ Anointing and if a person does not receive and abide in this Doctrine they are not of God. The Roman Church of the first 4 centuries as you have said did nothing but Fight over the Many Man Made Doctrines that still exist today in modern Church Insanity. To verify Read 2nd John 7-11 Just a Few thought that hopefully will make a difference in Knowing Truth

But East Rome was still an empire...and the idea that Jesus reigned after the fall of Rome...is ridiculous because it was actually a period of unrest, constant military conflicts between different war-lords, conquests, and loads of misery. And we also know the follow up empires that came after rome..and not all of them where Christian. So guess it wasn't Jesus. And why would Jesus even need to conquer anything? There are statements is scripture such as "Before Abraham was, I AM" and The LORDS statement about being SENT DOWN by the father. GOD states this "they will listen to MY SON". It's really clear that the SON is IN the father and the FATHER is IN the son, the carnal mind cannot recon this nor can the quasi 'spiritual' engaged in errant practices, it will confuse them and leave them apostate and bitter. It's simple and it's ALL in the scriptures. JESUS is the KING OF Mt. ZION, his blood is the ONLY way to the FATHER, his NAME is above every name and there is NO other way to heaven except through him. "No man comes to the FATHER except through ME". While the LORD was with us, the father spoke APART from him "this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased" and also THROUGH his son, being the WORD of GOD in the flesh, EMANUEL.

The fact that you know Jesus returned quickly to the same generation and yet you still accept secular history and the “early church fathers “ , shows you are 100% a shill

68But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69Also we have come to believe and know that You are the [q]Christ, the Son of the living God.”
