Not crackle, but you can add some fuzziness and modulation with the internal thing. Thats the one bad thing about this pedal - you have to use a screwdriver to open it up and then adjust it. It should have been built so that you wouldn't have to open it up all the time!!! This pedal has a lot of atmosphere and i'd recommend it as a guy who tried it and was blown away by the sounds. Very spacey! And for its size it just puts big pedals to shame with its versatility and sound.

Yes it is suppose to crackle and hiss! That's the whole point of this effect - emulation of the classic Binson Echorec! This is an amazing pedal and a very unique delay. Guess you guys should just get a Boss DD something......

I couldn't remember it cracking or hissing when I played it but you maybe right as it was like 2 years ago when I tried it out. I now have an Echolution 2 Ultra Pro and its outstanding.

thanks guys i was just wondering. if it was supposed to sound like a vinyl record it was doing the job. i don't use a Boss delay. I've got a XSeries Digitech and a Behringer delay and Behringer RV600 plus TC electronic T2 and Strymon bluesky. i get a lot of ambience on them, but then again my KZbin channel is sort focused around ambient sounds.
