I am a fan of stretches I can do with walls, sitting on my ass in a cube all day tightens me up pretty bad so if I can stretch easily as I walk to the restroom or something I like it. I tried this today in the break room, definitely going to keep doing it.

You were in my dream last night. You gifted me a hockey stick and sent me on my way to play a 3 on 3 in a cage. It was dreamy

SS R a couple weeks ago I dreamed that I met Greg and his wife at their house in OR. I think they adopted kids or something. It was deeply unsettling and a highly dysfunctional environment

speaking of shoulders... what’s your suggestion regarding the starting position for the snatch and the type of shoulder rotation to use, does internal rotation offers any advantage over an externally rotated shoulder for, lets say, the turn over? appreciate your content, and know that your book is my bible, thank you!

Coach - when would be the best time to do this - before a training session (but after a general warm-up) or after a session? Thanks in advance.
@CatalystAthletics Жыл бұрын
If you're tight, I'd add 1-2 sets of 15-30 sec in warm-up

@@CatalystAthletics Thank you coach! If you have a mobility program for 50+ men I would sign up for it. I can do a decent snatch, ankle mobility and have good thoracic mobility, but shoulders/elbows for front rack are a killer.

i have a shoulder dislocation history, are there any less compromising positions for these stretches..?
@CatalystAthletics5 жыл бұрын
Any shoulder flexion stretch is doing the same thing... If you're concerned, don't do this aggressively. (I've dislocated and torn the living shit out of one of my shoulders, and I can push this stretch hard 4 years post surgery).
