Dave, these videos are brilliant. I look forward to bring able to provide you with more concrete feedback about how the bike is working on track after watching all of these.

Thanks! The more we show this interaction the more people are open to looking at changing what they have currently into something that could be better :) Dave Moss Host

The Dunlop's can run either direction due to the construction. Most DOT race tires can run in either direction and have been that way for a few years. The bottom line with this tire was that it was a soft compound when it should have been a medium hard. That caused the bulk of the damage - wrong tire for the track surface and track temps. With tuning, we managed to get the tire to last 3 races before the damage started again - a huge step forward from 5 laps originally. Dave Moss Host

:) This is the 99% aiming at the 100% talk. (at first I saw the bike and because not mine I ignored it, today I thought, well let’s have a peek into it) highly interesting that all of the "99to100ers" have a similar style and approach. Ask, analyse, look and check, ask and get the real picture, match it with the pile of experience, adapt and test changes with safety, highest speed and best friction in mind, for a different person’s goal. Need more? Ask god. This video (1+2) are timeless. Managers should study this, not for preload, rebound and pressure purpose, for qualification to identify constructive people with vision, ability and qualification. Dave serviced the bike and Dave rebuild the Riders confidence. 100% accomplished.

Thanks for seeing the larger picture. That is exactly the purpose of these videos - to show the process.

can I ask what tyre pressure you think I should have my Pirelli supercorsa's sp for road cold pressure gsx-s1000 190-55-17 thanks mark ps love watching your video's on suspension setup's learning a lot from them

Mark - I have generally found great success with these tyres for most riders between 37-40psi cold in the rear and 35-38 cold in the front. The slightly higher pressure helps keep a better shape in the softer carcass when under load for a powerful bike during the acceleration and braking phases of rising.

ok thanks for that , also if you don't mind me asking I'm getting a jack hammer effect in the front end of my bike , its new bike with 2k miles on it, what would cause that , also I'm thinking of getting a rear shock as the one on it as not got comp on it only preload ?

A jack hammer effect is normally from bottoming out the forks so do you have a zip tie on the forks to substantiate that? A different shock is fine - there are manys to do that with the most common being Nitron.

Jack hammer effect is from bottoming the forks so do you have a zip tie on one fork leg to validate that? Nitron is the most common shock to replace the OEM unit and is enjoying a growing reputation for build quality and durability.

Thanks will put zip tie and test
