Hi, great video. May i ask why you always choose 3 MHZ for phonophoresis and not 1 MHZ ? We know in general that 1 MHZ is the one who penetrates 5 cm.

Could we replace steroid phonophoresis for knee , shoulder osteoarthritis with intraarticular steroid injection?do we get the same effect or results?

By phonophoresis, Is medication penetrated deeper than ionophoresis? How? When to use each? Is it effective for sciatica or cervical spondylosis?

You say thermal/continuous US should never be used for phonophoresis because it impairs drug delivery. What is the research that supports this statement? I have read extensively on phonophoresis and have yet to see that statement. The literature on parameters is extremely mixed, and there are actually some sources that suggest that thermal may increase the tissue permeability, hence enhancing the drug delivery. Hoping for some clarity/support for the "never use thermal" statement.

Wrong. Using 3 MHZ frequency in Phonophoresis can not penetrate 5 cm. IT can only penetrate up to 2 cm.
