Linh, you missed a couple of shot opportunities. Guys, that hard top is looking spectacular. You should be very proud of what you’ve achieved. I am looking forward to seeing it completed. So great that you were able to help do the copper coat as a family adventure. Emma was fishing for compliments on the way back to your boat and she did get them. Looking good on the hardtop, smoothed and clean, no cuts there. Dandy Meal, Happy Faces Full Tummies, yea some Thickened Epoxy taboot. Copper Coat on the cloths, those won't rust anytime soon. Stay safe guys !!

I could watch Teal build that hardtop all day, so professional. In a past episode, I was very surprised to learn that Linh didn't have formal cooking classes after seeing the meals she prepares...such a telented chef. So, I wonder who is the true professionalist (maybe it's perfectionist) in the famaily? Emma sure has some big shoes to fill, but for some reason I don't think that'll be a problem. ;) Thanks for sharing.

Teal, that's some fantastic engineering on that hard top. I've seen professional glass shops who didn't produce the quality that you do. Nicely done. Linh looks like she could give lessons on how to make sushi. And whatever you do, Emma, don't let them ever forget that there would be no painting of anything without an expert mixer. Emma has a beautiful face along with an outstanding personality. Teal would have a zero problem building a homebuilt aircraft out of foam and fiberglass....probably made it better and stronger. He should have been with us while building a Bede 10 jet. Linh is wonderful supporting her man and daughter daily.

Emma is right though, though I have no experience with coppercoat from everything i've seen the mixing part is really important, more so than regular antifoul, and mixing enough for 4 people rolling would be a big job for anyone, Great Job Emma! This is a special 👍🏼just for you.

you could bend the pvc molding (or everything made with it) with heating blankets is fast prefect for curve and really easy. hopefully it helps.

I have boat yard fatigue too. Let's go sailing....Teal and crew are amazing. The secret appears to be don't rush. The patience is my takeaway. The Cooper coat job cost more than that boat. Trusting a young teenager to mix some of the most expensive paint in the world speaks volumes about wonderful Emma. Congrats.

People starting with the best intentions then fading when it gets tough. That isn't your crew. Living on the boat sure helps. Maybe I'm getting hardtop fatique. Lol..it's an amazing project. I watched a video made by another family, "Sailing Zatara", who got a free bottom paint that's supposed to be revolutionary and keeps build up off the bottom of boat. Supposed to be better then copper coating. Maybe you could tell that young man about "Sailing Zatara". Maybe that paint is that good? I don't own a boat but like to watch videos about the adventures of others like yourselves. God Bless and Happy New Year.
