Cataphracts are a real test for my defending abilities!!

That pop cap around 19:29 when the catas were pushing your base flank and your army so too far out to come back had me thinking that was the end. But you kept a cool head and were able to pull it out! Would have been interesting to see the vill graph right there to see who did the most damage when you traded bases. Awesome walls at the beginning, making a kind of maze/ staging area where you could delay the catas and also get your defensive army together. Definitely will be taking that idea back into my games. GG!!

Haha me too. I knew that I couldn't get back in time so prayed my reinforcements would hold. I've checked the vill graph for you and at 19:20 it was 83 vills to me Vs 56 for him. By 22:20 it was 57 vills to me Vs 53 for him. I knew I'd taken a lot of damage, so that's why I added the third TC after just to compensate for his relics. Initially the walls were just to make his keshiks run under the TC to take damage and then ended up being the perfect choke point. Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻

@ "That's a lot of damage!" (see flex tape ads). Yeah the idea of just creating those small walls to force his units in, I think is really interesting and will be experimenting with. Fun one and well played!
