Sterling silver sometimes does that. It's over 90% silver by weight, but the rest of that is usually copper, which can cause discoloration.
@JoshManMate6 жыл бұрын
It's just copper oxidisation which is completely harmless to the skin and usually washes off but will continue to come back if the ring is untreated. The vast majority of silver jewellery contains copper including sterling silver which is 92.5% silver, 7.5% copper. I'd be more inclined to say silver jewellery that doesn't have this effect is fake unless it's certified 99.9% pure silver. Some people believe copper bracelets and rings can help to prevent arthritis although no studies can prove it, most studies however can prove that once you have arthritis it does not help to negate the effects.

The skin, he will give them to his brother, and he'll make wallets and belts out off them. The rattler tails he'd give them to me and my sister, of course my uncle will make for us necklaces, earrings, key chains and all kinds of things.

At first I was thinking "What is this sorcery!?" And then I remembered there's probably still a small electrical current inside the brain. Plus, the exact same thing happened to humans when they were decapitated via guillotine. There are records of the decapitated heads biting the hands of the person holding it up right after it has been chopped off. This is also why they hold the head up, to show the slowly dying head its severed connection between its body and its head. This effect happens for about 10 seconds and it's kinda freaky but cool!
@Alpdude6 жыл бұрын
It's actually longer than 10 seconds. I've read about this subject and if I can recall correctly, it was around a few minutes. A decapitated criminal lifted his eyelids multiple times after hearing his name called. You can probably find the exact study if you google a bit.

@@roaninlee7818 Yeah, decapitation isn't humane. That goes for any animal. Destroying the brain instantly, or shutting it down slowly and painlessly is the only humane death. @@glut4473 No it isn't, you don't know anything about reptiles. "Although meaning certain death, decapitation is certainly not a rapid or humane way of killing reptiles. As hard to believe as it seems, the heads cut from reptiles live on well after the horrific event of decapitation itself. It is not a case of 'nerves causing the head to move unconsciously' as most people think. The heads, and parts of the neck if still attached, are alive and some may attempt to bite objects which approach; the eyes may follow movement and the pupils contract and dilate in response to light and dark; they can blink and in the case of snakes and lizards, flick out and in their tongues to test the air for scent and even move slightly if enough of their neck is left."
