CATCH AND COOK Surf Fishing Hilton Head Island with Cut Shrimp Catches Some Nice Fish

Living at the new house, I am now close to the same distance from Hilton Head as I am from Tybee Island. I will definitely be shooting more videos from Hilton Head since it is usually a little less crowded than Tybee, though I do love to fish both islands.
The increased water temperature has produced some really productive days recently. I still haven't seen any pompano or drum on the beach, but I know they're coming.

Headed to Jekyll for the weekend. Tied a few rigs here at the house and I’m interested to see how my handiwork goes for us. Hopefully the spring breakers and tourists leave some room for us.

Always awesome to hear when someone is trying to tie their own, it's definitely the best way to go. My recommendation for avoiding the crowds is, early in the morning is best, just before dinner is second best.

Early and late are usually best for a number of reasons. But honestly, this time of year your changes are pretty good any time of day. If the wind is blowing over 12 mph, don't even mess with it, you'll just get frustrated.
