Always liked the phrase, big bait, big fish!! Like throwing bunker heads in the north east. I thought those were Lami Honey S-Glass then I saw the Diawa label.

I have fords and use motorcraft full synthetic oil, I still do oil changes every 3000 miles. Side note, I’ve always wondered if magnets on an oil filter would help, does it?

Nice video! Smart move using the rod holders on your beach cart

Very appreciated. It especially helps keeping that 8 foot rod above people's heads.

What makes all the small holes on the beach ? Is it ghost shrimp ?
@fishincontrol2 жыл бұрын
Ghost shrimp, sand eels, sand fleas... I think around here it's mostly the little eels, but it's a mixture

@@fishincontrol , that sounds a reasonable answer. Thanks and keep them vids coming. Such a refreshing honest view,

I know you probably won’t answer, but what should I use for bait for fishing on land? Please answer because I’m going to be there tomorrow
@fishincontrol Жыл бұрын
What do you mean by fishing on land? The fish are in the water. The main bait I use is fresh shrimp

I know the rules btw about sharks

Are you fishing in front of Sea Cloister (the white building in the background)? I fish Hilton Head some and I am convinced the bottom is carpeted with small sharks and stingrays.

Very close to that. And yeah, especially this time of year, that's just about all that's out there. Heck, the water at Tybee Pier is only 52° right now! That's super duper cold.

Can I ask where you got that cart I'm trying to find something that'll fit in the back seat of my car I'm in myrtle beach
@fishincontrol Жыл бұрын
This is the offshore angler deluxe beach cart from Cabela's. They have a new model out with better wheels. I'm gonna try to get just the wheels to upgrade mine soon. If you have to deal with the fluffy sand, you'll want the puffier wheels if possible.

How were the ppl walking by, any haters? I had 3 last summer, very disappointing.
@fishincontrol Жыл бұрын
There's almost always somebody every year, but it's not too bad. I've actually turned a couple of folks around just by being nice to them regardless of how they came at me. Always confuses the heck out of people when you do that. 😃

They don’t want you surf fishing here? Why are they hating ?
@fishincontrol Жыл бұрын
@litterdone, some people act like nobody should ever be in anybody else's way on a public beach. They'll walk into your lines, swim in front of your rods, all kinds of malarkey. I try to keep my setup respectful in size, and away from swimmers, but sometimes it doesn't matter how much of that you do. People are gonna people.
@JennArant Жыл бұрын
@@fishincontrol my husband and I surf fish every week down where we live in Florida.. I know what you mean they walk under your lines and swim close to where you threw your line out. We’re going to Hilton head in a few months and we’re going to surf fish I can’t wait!
