Sounds good. I hear Dirty Jigs make some good jigs. I believe the ones I just bought were from Georgia Blades.

I always love a good jig bite. I really need to work on my skipping this year.

Definitely, when you feel that tap in a jig it might be THE ONE lol. I practiced using cheap line then began using better line after I got the hang of it.

Great info, started jigging last year and love it. That live scope is amazing. Live in Irwinton Ga primarily fish Sinclair, and Juliette. Good luck this tournament season.

@@MoneyBass I'm going to start this year just bought my first bass boat last august, I plan on joining one or two open tournaments on Sinclair and Jackson, but I'm registering with a friend of mine for the big bass tour tournament on Guntersville Lake in October. He's traveling from Arkansas to fish it. It will be our first time on Guntersville.
@DaxJamesTruckingFarmLife3 жыл бұрын
I haven't fished any on Juliette, my bass boat is too big for it so I just take my canoe up there. Even though I seen people with larger motors than what you are supposed to have on that lake I just never risked it.

Guntersville is a great lake! I've placed on that lake 2 or 3 times. Won a $4800 Megabass prize a few years back. I have a few videos from Guntersville. Good times! Good luck with fishing this year.

Thanks for all the videos. Can you do a video on skippin jigs? First thing I noticed, you started the skip pretty close to the boat. I had been trying to start skip closer to the dock, needles to say I need to practice cause I stink it up when trying to skip.
@MoneyBass3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment and question. I might attempt to do a skipping video at some point. I'm still learning. I feel like I have the basics down. The location where the skip starts seems to depend on how much far the lure is from the tip of the pole before casting it. Keep at it and you will get better. For me, I didnt begin to get better at it until I made it a point to work on it. I bought 2 spools of 20lb Seaguar red label and worked my way through several backlashes and eventually didn't backlash as much lol. Hope this helps for now.

What about spinner baits?

I need to work on my spinner bait game. I hear they are good in cold muddy/stained water. I have some but don't throw them much.
