Not a lot of people explain the how and why, so thanks for doing that. You're a pro who's recently won 2 huge tournaments and you make it feel like the average person can put a few pieces of information together and grind out some bass. I'm going to take this knowledge and use it this weekend when I'm cranking. Good luck on the next tournament!

10:52 I use to noodle behind them rocks on the right and then straight ahead where that road comes down is Carlisle Cove I use to take girls there and camp just to the left of that road and that that last peak out on the right there’s a bigger cove around the corner and my Dock is about 6-7 docks down on the right! I can’t quit watching your videos now man seeing as how your from my hometown! I know I mention it in all my comments but it’s just that you went to highschool with my mom I believe at my old school cave springs and it’s absolutely AWESOME that your doing so good for yourself being from a Place like Stilwell! Thanks for your video today, you got very in depth with the process you were using to figure out the fish and what they were doing!! What really got my attention was the fact that you stuck with basically one bait ( cranking ) but had some that ran different depths to cover the areas you were fishing!! I liked how you explained what you were doing!!! Thanks again for what you do and teaching how you do it!!!!!!

Do you use live scope when fishing the bank or just to see if fish are suspended near the bank?
@Christiefishing9 ай бұрын
I always have my eye on it incase something is out in front off the bank
@stoneysdead6892 жыл бұрын
The one sentence every kayak angler with a paddle hates to hear- "We need to cover water." No- not again, it hurts! And figuring out how to mount a trolling motor efficiently on one that's not made for it- not easy. It takes me all summer to get used to it and stop being so sore after a trip- then winter hits and I have to put it up. I'm gonna figure out how to get a trolling motor on that thing this season- it's killing me.
@Christiefishing2 жыл бұрын
You don’t have to cover the lake. Scale it down. There are resident fish in creeks too. Move around the creek until you find them.
@philtarbox82562 жыл бұрын
I noticed that you use a Duo-lock to attach your lures with... I'm a big fan of those... do you always use them whenever you fish?

Jason, reason you pick the CC-5-17MH over the CC-4-17 ?
@Christiefishing2 жыл бұрын
The cc-4-17 is too much of a noodle for me. I like a little more back bone. Lots of guys throw the cc-4-17. I’m probably in the minority there

What temperature does post spawn usually start?
@RockyTopSplash2 жыл бұрын
Typically bass start spawning 57*... about 1-2 months after it hits that every bass should have spawned by then. There's not really a cut off.. basically just a start point and everybody come to the party asap. Hope this helps.

Why would you downsize crankbait for clearer water, is it because you can wind it quicker?
@Christiefishing2 жыл бұрын
Didn’t necessarily downsize. Went to deeper diver because of clearer water. Knew the fish could be anywhere from bank to out a little deeper off bank. Wanted to cover all of it.
@AlexandertheGregfishing2 жыл бұрын
I think people find it easy to relate. Just catch fish. Nothing fancy. Crankbait, spinnerbait, chatterbait, jig, frog. That's what fishermen like to do.
