Catch Can mystery revealed

A catch can is merely a remote vent for the engine…nothing special here!
High performance and even stock engines create internal pressure and must be vented. If an engine is sealed the internal pressure can blow oil from the gaskets and seals.
A catch can capture that oil so it does not get on the track!
