That was another successful crabbing adventure. Plenty of nice size crabs caught. I like Old Bay but the last batch I got seems to be more spicy than usual. Those crab burgers look really tasty. Looks like some type of blue berry kolaches.

The best part is the crab meat. We used to live in an area where the water contained toxins, the state recommended cleaning your crabs before you cook them because that's where most of the toxins are "the mustard" so we started eating them that way, for over 50 years. Thanks for Watching

find some chicken leg quarters at the store that's what I use and I tear em up each time at least 8 to a dozen most times yellow traps work well

Grant, We use them a lot when we're not catching fish, 10lb for $4.70, cheaper than crab bait. Mississippi just has more crabs than Florida lol. Hope your traps are full.

Seems like a low count of crabs for a 2-day soak. I think you guys should try a 4-8 hour soak in the same place and see what you get. Might be a bad spot, or someone might be checking your traps. Quite a lot of chicken is eaten in your bait traps compared to the number of crabs you have.

We didn't expect a lot of crabs at that spot but the crabs are high quality, over 2 pounds of meat from 19 crabs so we decided to set them there a couple of times. I might try that 4-8 hour set. Thanks for Watching
