Mahi Mahi, dolphin, dolphin fish, schoolies, swingers, gaffers, slammers...there are SO many names for these acrobatic saltwater fish! 😊 My favorite expression "A fish so nice they named it twice!" It's no doubt that catching mahi is such a blast. They are fun to fight, delicious to eat, and pretty to look at. We went out targeting dolphin knowing that the big ones haven't been around. We ran around trying different weed lines and edges that looked fishy hoping to come across a school of keeper mahis! 🐟

I think the name you might have been looking for is "peanut" for small schoolies. When I fished South Florida, we just said, "dolphin" We knew it was not the mammal. I use to work off A1A (A-dock Bahia Mar and Los Olas ) for 14 years. Mahi is actually the name Hawaiians used . Because people started flipping out saying "Dolphin" they thought it was Flipper (Way before your time) and KZbin the name changed via fishing Florida. I wish you both the very best. With the media you have, you will ROCK South Florida Fishing. ... When I say I know South Florida, I still have connections to Gray's Taxidermy. ( Take a pic, release, and get a mold of a memory) You girls have a bright future ahead of you.

Some folks call small mahis “green hornets” and in the Carolinas we rank them by size as peanuts, slingers/bailers, gaffers and slammers. You do good work with your videos captains and the live pinfish take on this one was pretty cool.

Hello Ladies, thank you for video. Also I would recommend to try is spray fish with hot water appox. 70 celsius and peel off the skin. I tried with salmon and works great. Idea is to cook a bit just the skin so it will disengage from the meat very easy. temperature may vary a bit depending on fish size and type.

One could go on about being attractive without flaunting it, mention your great personalities and so on but the truth is, you are both entertaining and know what your doing.
