As winter sets in I travel to a high mountain reservoir in search of jumbo yellow perch. My hopes are not disappointed and I also stumble across some aggressive trout feeding before the freeze!

Man :You have to try beer, perch or crappie, or blue gill , or any fish of your choosing. Cube the fish in about one inch pieces , use seasoning of choice, bring beer to a boil , drop fish into beer and cook for just a couple min. Drain fish season again and dip in cocktail sauce.😍😍😍✌️✌️✌️you can cool cooked fish in ice water, drain and have a shrimp cocktail. Um um Good.

Next time bring a small tarp and cover the kayak. The frost will cover the tarp. I’m the morning, haul the tarp off and your boats ready to go. Spread the tarp out while you fish to let it defrost.
