I watch a lot of fishing stuff on youtube, but Ace you're the most genuine person I think I've come across. No clickbait, no gimmicks, just a cool guy doing what he loves, and it shows. I've NEVER bought any merch from a youtuber before, but I feel great about ordering one of your level up in real life shirts. Happy to support you in the small way I can. Hope to see many more videos for years to come.

@Ben Arbo I’ve read the Bible I was raised catholic. I aunt broke off to Mormon. My friends are Christian. Religion is a curse and a vile disease on humanity. I recommend you actually reread your book and maybe you’ll see where I’m coming from.
@14vatochongo3 жыл бұрын
@Ben Arbo ha! See that’s your prejudice. I worship myself and no other just the way satan did. No I understand the book. You are the one corrupted by the different interpretations that don’t get listened to but at face value or by what your preacher says it means. Go reread the whole thing. God is the bad guy the asshole the prick.Satan the devil lucifer the morning star. Was a seeker of freedom god wants control. The devil is a metaphor for how I live my life.

It was so hard for me because it was just me and him since he was 5. He's like you...he loves to fish, he's a good Christian boy, and he loves thre outdoors! I have all his rods and reels and tackle boxes here at the house, just waiting om him to come home from Sasebo, Japan...just 3 more years! Hey guys, put your butter in the bottom of the pan with your oil when popping popcorn. It won't burn. I make homemade popcorn on the stove at home and that's what I do. That way your butter distributes evenly all through the popcorn. 🌽

Hey fellas I'm a Chef, and one of the best things with trout is pre boiled potatoes, and then just fry them in some butter and salt and pepper and garlic until you get a nice golden brown color. Then sear the trout skin side down until it's crispy and add butter and garlic and things like thyme or rosemary into the pan and just spoon that buttery flavor over the meat side until it's fully cooked through. and then fry up some bacon, toss in some apple, a little oil, a little vinegar and a touch of maple for a maple bacon vinaigrette to drizzle over the trout layered on top of the potatoes. You're welcome fellas! : )

A recipe for some onion rings is some batter with water and breading crumbs to finish off the crunch . Or the fish fry with some sugar and vanilla extract !!
@vashishlg_4 жыл бұрын
My Onion Rings Recipe: Make a quick simple batter for the onion with all purpose flour about 200 grams, salt, pepper, herbs if you wanna, paprika, AND ACE'S FIRST CAST SEASONING, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda/powder (not yeast haha). Add water till it's gooey and sticky. Put the cut onions in flour THEN coat it then put in batter. Then for additional crunch, put the coated onion rings in fish fry or bread crumbs. (Salt everything well)

I have found the best onion rings come from soaking the onion rings in a little bit of vinegar, apple cider is my preferred. After letting the onion rings sit in the vinegar for about half an hour take them out, pat them dry to get off any excess vinegar, and then put them directly into whole fat milk (you can substitute evaporated milk if you are on the boat) then into an egg wash, and then into seasoned bread crumbs. I prefer to use seasoned panko breadcrumbs, but any breadcrumb you like will do. After coating them in the dry batter let them sit for about 5-10 minutes or so before putting them into 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or about 177 degrees Celsius for those on the metric system haha, and cook until GBD. By allowing them to soak in the vinegar you get almost a faux pickle which makes the onion ring less likely to pull out of the batter because it has already been pre softened......everyone who has ever eaten onion rings knows what I'm talking about haha. Sorry I didn't post the recipe sooner, but this is my first time seeing this video. If you do come across this recipe by some chance, and you actually give a shot tell me what you think. Anyway keep making awesome content, and thanks for the entertainment.

my tried & true onion ring recipe: cut your onions into rings & soak in buttermilk for at least 15 mins. prep your flour by adding the seasonings you like. (i add garlic powder, seasoning salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. you can add whatever you want. i like this mixture) once the onions have soaked, toss them in the flour, separate them so they make separate rings and dont clump, and fry them in the oil of your choice! (i use vegetable oil)

Ace! for onion rings, all you need is a wet batter, and you had the ingredients for the batter on the boat! Just need to add water/beer to your fry mix, and stir it till it resembles a pancake batter. This is not the traditional way to make them, but the final product should resemble what you want. You won't have to bring extra supplies just to make onion rings. Hope this helps!

Perch was always a fun fish to catch. When they get to 1 to 1.5kg they are lively. I always also loved to fish Pike, as long as you used steel wire(1980's and 90's) because they chewed trough normal fishing line in a heartbeat. God bless and lots of love from a disabled Norwegian no longer healthy enough to fish. Thanks for letting me live vicariously trough you.
