First time commenting on your videos. I love the technical aspect of your rigs and attention to detail, and they have converted me into an avid user of a more continental style of fishing. As an 'Old Timer ' I now appreciate using finer braids in most conditions and have definitely increased my catch rate. I fished Tildas after watching your excellent video and the info was spot on

Nice one Mike. I've got multipliers and 'broomsticks', just need to force myself to use them sometime!

Oh WOW,I've just read your community bit and saw you donate money to the Sepsis Trust,that's fantastic.I nearly died from it 3 years ago and still have ongoing issues from it.They were,and still are, very supportive to me,when I need them.
@rodsangleuk62833 жыл бұрын
Thanks Kevin - yes a good cause indeed and one of my ressons for maintaining this channel; since a good mate of mine died from sepsis earlier in the year. I will however be donating to other charities as well and an update about this will appear in the community post section fairly soon.

Thanks for posting another entertaining video , your comment on staying longer than normal certainly paid off for me and the missus at Holland last weekend, after umpteen whiting, at low tide the dabs turned up and we had good sport for about a hour 👍

Good to hear Thomas - I'll be starting my dab campaign fairly soon! Thanks for watching and commenting.

Thanks Rod lots of small whiting at Dungie yesterday and 9 decent Dabs and a foul hooked Sprat .

Nice one Gary - if the sprats are in, then more dabs should follow. I'll have to wait until Kent comes out of tier 3.

We moan if it's too hot, we moan if it's too cold, we moan if we catch whiting and we'd moan if we didn't and blanked! Funny old life. But a tremendously good video as always. I see your next one relates to a trip to Shoebury Garrison. Especially looking forward to that one as I have recently been thinking of giving it a go since it's not too far from where I live. Cheers. Ken

The Whiting and especially Pouting are prime live bait useage, especially for the ‘odd’ Bass or early Cod. I’d certainly have given it a go with an inshore attempt. Good video.
@rodsangleuk62833 жыл бұрын
Thanks Andrew - it's worth a go, but I generally prefer there to be a well defined 'gutter' for that.

Cool video! I’ve fished there since I was a kid! Really interested in how you film your videos? What camera do you use? Do you use editing software to zoom in? Have a Rockpooling marine biology KZbin channel myself 😃
