I am the same. I simplify my tackle box. I only carry only a few kastmasters of different sizes so I can pretty much catch all types of fish. No more carrying those big tackle box with all sorts of lures and weights. Kastmasters are the best lures in my opinion too.

Great video ! I have my own KZbin channel too, but I’m doing research into what I would need for shore fishing in different countries (I’m from the uk) no good sea fishing in our country. So your video was helpful, what lb fluorocarbon leader do you normally use for shore fishing ? I have a set up with 50lb braid on the mainline, probably overkill

Hey hi, thanks for stopping by. I generally fish light tackle..so 10-20lb braid main line with 30-40lb leader if fishing beach(with no structure). if I am fishing heavy structure...then I will go up a little in leader size...but ideally you want to keep leader as thin as possibly as thicker leaders do affect the action of smaller lures etc.

i use 1oz Kastmaster mostly. generally most 1/0 single hooks work with them.

@Dylan-o8n hi, really depends on the depth of water your fishing and how rough the surf is mate. I generally use 1oz as the water close to shore here is fairly shallow and surf is moderately shallow. If surf is calm and fish are in closer..I may step down to a 3/4oz kastmaster. Upgrade hooks and splits when you use a lastmaster...factory hooks and splits are no good.
