Catch MORE Fish w/ This LIVE Bait! (Pier/Beach Fishing)

Today, I am using a cast net to catch free fishing bait to use on a Carolina Rig while surf fishing. It’s so easy to catch your own bait on the beach, especially during the fall mullet run! There are SO many mullets here, it makes no sense to buy bait when it’s constantly busting out of the water.
This week, I am fishing in Florida with Erin, my mom, my dad, and some local friends! This day was the closest thing to paradise. So many fish. So many friends. And just a straight-up good time.

I've never fished on the surf and I have only fished off a pier once for about 30 min with rented gear so I do not know much of anything about saltwater fishing as how to. I watch your channel and a few more but, until I get out there, it's just a show right!? Hopefully I'll do some this yr. This way of fishing, surf and maybe close to a pier or off of he pier, do you recommend braid or mono.
