Catch n’ Cook Toothy Hogfish- Kayak Fishing Hawaii!

Kayak fishing in Hawaii, me ancient and I explored 3 different areas looking for big ulua or snapper. I came up completely empty on the ulua end, but we had a great time catching all of these different reef fish! I think I caught 3-4 different species I had never caught before!
Keep trying new things and leveling up in real life!

Next time you make burritos, since you like fried things trying dressing your burritos and rolling them then getting a 1/8 of a inch in a pan until golden to dark brown on all sides. Deep fried fish chimichangas🤤

15:18 That fish you caught is a nabeta/razor fish, no size limit in Hawaii, one of my favorite fish to eat. Just gut the fish and don't scale it. If you do, you just ruined the fish because the scales become crispy when fried. Just salt and pepper are all you need for seasoning soo delicious and a little secret lizard fish are good live bait 🤙from the Big Isalnd

True story, when I was a kid my dad was a travel agent and my parents, my two older sisters, and I always used to take vacations to Aruba, I've been to the Bahamas (Freeport and Nassau) five times combined, and my parents and I also went on a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean where my Dad and I went fishing in St. Thomas, USVI. I caught a 58.5" 28 lb Mahi Mahi, a 7.5 lb black fin tuna, and MANY big barracuda, but when I was in my single digits my dad caught an 8.5 lb Queen Triggerfish and he had it mounted. That's one thing that I distinctly remember. I ended up giving the crew of the charter boat that we went on my bull dolphin only to find out that my Mahi Mahi was worth close to $500 because it's a HUGE delicacy in the USVI. Also, while we were in Aruba (when I was about 5 years old) my Dad caught a HUGE Wahoo and while he did take a couple large pieces of the steaks off of it and paid a local restaurant to cook it for him, he gave the rest to the crew.
