We've been playing this song for a long time. There even is an old video on KZbin of us performing this song live on a radio station almost 10 years ago, and we also played it during one of our MLT Club Livestreams. Not to mention the hundreds of times we've performed it live on stage.
We thought it deserved its own properly recorded Duo Session after all these years! :-)
We've had the pleasure of meeting Donovan a couple of times over the years! Growing up listening to his music, we've always considered him a significant influence on our own musical journey.

I was at the 1970 Bath Festival. The roads were so blocked that some acts couldn't make it to the site. Donovan ( whose star had apparently begun to wane), offered to come on stage alone with his acoustic guitar - and kept over 200,000 people thoroughly entertained. This is a lovely cover and a nice reminder of a wonderful moment in time.

Just a few months ago, I heard "Catch the Wind" for the first time. I'm 60. I have well over two thousand records, including Donovan records. In 1969 I had 30 days leave after coming back from the far east, and drove my 59 Corvette from Seattle to Chicago. The car had an eight track installed. Remember those.
