This video was fantastic it brings me back to when my children were younger and going to see grandparents at camp . Now they have children and still talk about going to camp and doing all adventures

Man I enjoy watching you and your dad Paul. My father was an avid outdoorsman, long passed away but so many good memories.

@@MaineOutdoorEnthusiast Thats great. You should think about making a cabin history / cabin stories video

@MaineOutdoorEnthusiast I am building a house outside of bangor now I sold my house in Portland area but I still travel down to Portland for work Thursdays amd stay and work Friday to cus I have a big job that I took on and I don't want my contractors to have to find another plumber so I've been super swamped but I have been doing some fishing in some of the rivers around. I've got into lots of brookies and some salmon, browns. I am headed to camp tomorrow for 3 days tho I look forward to catching a bunch of arctic char up to camp. I look forward to more videos! Have a great weekend my friend

My Girlfriend gets so excited seeing you both using Orvis Gear and apparel. She is a Lead in the main Warehouse in our town. What a great day on the boat.

Great vid. I’m right between you guys age wise. I remember the dump trips. Hard to believe that’s what we did 40 years ago looking back at it. I remember a paper bag lining the garbage can that was emptied in the burn barrel. The rest went to the dump.

Paul, Mark, This was FAR AND AWAY YOUR BEST VIDEO!!!!! I loved it! I really like the Mailman! Couple of nice fish too! I hope I can stay around long enough to go fishing with my now 2 yr old Grandson!

That was fun to watch. Your children will remember the mail box trips the rest of their lives. What a great idea. I don’t believe I have ever seen anyone troll with a fly rod. What type of fly are you using. Is it a streamer type? I assume they are wet, if so, how deep are you fishing it?
@MaineOutdoorEnthusiast6 ай бұрын
Thanks! It's a pretty common tradition in Maine to troll tandem streamers (Mickey Finn, Nine-Three, Gray Ghost etc). Right near the surface and often times in very shallow water. We fish them primarily ice out until late May or early June.
