Greg challenges himself to build a fishing net out of the materials he has around him while at his family's farm in Australia. Between the build Greg spends time with his family and goes back to his roots as a self proclaimed "dry-wall wizard".
**Ovens Down Under Adventure Playlist** • Ovens Down Under
Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

i also have an account with athletic greens, that's great they sponsor you, i hope they give you the packages, i noticed fowler adds some mostly sound enhancements to his videos and has developed a rather easygoing style, i think fowler does a great job with his videos, a reflection of his easygoing style, it is my belief that you and fowler help amos with his videos, that's great amos has a style of his own, but i was thinkng if you guys want to add a little more fun into your videos, fowler doesn't need anything more, he should continue as is, but actually as i am posting this i just thought of what to use for the idea i am presenting to you, and i am only doing this based on fowler, so blame him, i also think i have a suggestin for amos, feel free to eject my suggestions, no hard feelings, but i think for the styles of videos you and amos put out, and fowler may want to add one as well, and being a bit of a trio i think adds to the interest in your videos, so for greg add a beaver with long hair as a cartoon popup, for amos, i think amos is from el salvador, not big on their history, but from my perspective a con quistator type character, you know with a sword, 1400ish, fowler if he chooses a lumberjack or bear, and i do suggest some creativity, music can also be used by amos and greg, but not in the same context as fowler, that is it, the big reveal, anyway, great series of video greg, i live in bc and am hoping one day to find the little camp you and fowler built, take care

I know you need to make money but don't sell your soul bud. That stuff is full of toxins and 'gives you energy' by basically poisoning yourself and then your body has an adrenal response. By all means, anyone can smoke and drink caffeine if they want but blending up dried grass and telling you it's good for your health ain't right. These people are profiting off people's ignorance.

Wow, your daughter and son inlaw have a beautiful house and property. Glad you were able to see family and teach grandchildren how to catch a fish. Found your channel during Covid lock down searching for winter camping. Canada 🇨🇦 has some of the most beautiful place to film. Nothing like those forest mountains and lakes in the Winter snow falling campfire crackling with food being cooked. Also Finly is such a awesome companion!

Next time you're running low on tying down material, try to dig up the thin roots of trees that are the same thickness as the young willow material. It's always very shallow and easy to dig up, strong and supple and if you follow the root long ways you can get really long pieces. This won't harm the tree either as long as you don't take too many. Good for ropes. You could also just straight up weave grass into ropes. Should be some tutorials somewhere on KZbin if you don't already know the methods. Awesome episode mate.
