Good video mate. The water looked so good. Parts of it looked really fishy 👍Yep, had a quick look on the NSW DPI site on freshwater rules re tethering fish, but found nothing. Only a 50m distance from your rod in the water rule. As long as it legal length should ok to tether. And hope no big cod gets it 😀 Cheers.

We love, honour and respect the fish we are so fortunate to be able to catch and sometimes eat. If we are to take some for the table it is best to treat them with the upmost respect and dignity of a clean and quik ending. I don't think tethering is paying the upmost respect to our fish family. Loved the video, so nice to see so many beautiful healthy fish.

Great session! You read the water so well from the bank. Anyone bank fishing could learn a lot on how to fish from the bank no need to fling it right across the other side fish are generally right under your feet. Keep it up!

Awesome as always legend that yabbie must have been what helped you find that silver slab Nice size silver perch Someone lost a bunch in the floods and now my local is holding a few, I caught one on topwater while bass fishing, was really awesome to see it hit a Cicada off the top. Tight lines as always 🎣 Always here watching and giving the good old thumbs up to the awesome work you put in 👍🏼

@@whistlingwillysfishing8992 Sorry mate, been away fishing too much! Just back from skiing. Always try to follow your stuff, though. Be interesting to see how the water flow goes for the next 6 months or so. The central west has really dried up, creeks are low. Great to see the silver, the DPI are having great success with Macquaries near Bathurst. Keep on whistling them up mate. Cheers PP

Great work mate, incredible silver. I used to catch hundreds of them at Darlington Point probably 2016 was the last time I’ve seen one.

I doubt that you would forget any fish you took the time to tether. A quick glance at the rules for NSW was unproductive; I couldn’t see anything regarding it. I’d call what passes for DPI in NSW and ask them before I did it. Odds are if I did it an inspector would definitely turn up and book me. Ps. Great vid as always. Cheers mate.

I have been watching your videos for ages and I have been wondering why you had not caught any 'Grunter Bream'. I was beginning to think that they have have become extinct. As a young bloke back in the 70's it was not unusual to get Grunters 5-8 pound, and yes they really do grunt. Have you ever caught a 'Tench', we use to catch the odd one up to 5 pound when I was a kid. Thanks for sharing.
@whistlingwillysfishing899211 ай бұрын
I haven’t. Grinders we’re a little commen back in the Lachlan as a kid , my uncle caught one sround the 5/6 pound once. Would be great to see them come back in numbers. Thanks for your continued support mate, much appreciated
