Growing up only lake fishing see if you can find any classic mister twister curly tails in translucent purple and banana scented the crappie sunfish and bluegills use to love them.

Them Ozark trail shudder swimmers are really good for the price. Ran the bluegill color as a trailer on a white/chartreuse chatter bait and I only needed 1 trailer the whole summer last year

I know exactly where you're at lol. You're not far from me. Few pointers, for the tilapia put on a 1/16 jig head with a crappie lure on it, then toss it into their bed and just dance it around. Although tilapia are very skiddish, they are also very territorial fish, they will attack your jig, not because of hunger, but to protect their bed. As for the bass and pan fish you were after, when it gets cooler in Florida the fish slow down, use a light jig or something slow sinking and slowly reel in your line. Gotta be patient, these fish are used to 80 degree weather lol 🤣. Tight lines brotha.

Nice! Haven’t seen bluegill fishing in a bit on yt, in my backyard all I need is a hook, no bait, and I’ll absolutely slay the bluegill. Not even foul hook they’ll actually bite the hook lol

Hey FirstState the best spot at flamingo lake is right behind the restaurant that is where the fish sit because people feed them 😅

Mike, I highly suggest buying Extremephillyfishing's favorite inline spinner. Thomas' EP Series inline spinner. Dont have to tug on the lure to get the blade spinning like others. I find it to be a much smoother retreive, allowing you to sense everything along the way.

To catch tilapia we use moss off a spillway and fish it on a bobber below the spillway

Come fish The TN River Formidable in their own right, more than 300 fish species and 125 species of freshwater mussels make the Tennessee and Cumberland river basins two of the most biologically diverse river systems in North America and an irreplaceable part of Tennessee’s natural heritage. These same waters are major drivers of Tennessee’s economy, and key to local livelihoods and general quality of life. They also generate hydroelectric power, support thirsty cities and crops, and fuel a booming outdoor tourism economy.

You couldn't find bobbers at Walmart? You should have gone to the Arts & Crafts section to get their styrofoam balls, poke a hole through them, put your line through the hole, and plug the hole with a straw. Probably could have gotten a pack of styrofoam balls for a buck or two.
