I have fished Des Allemands many times, and it never disappointed. Mainly I would fish bass, but now that I see your video I'm sorry that I never fished blue gill. Great video. Be Safe, and God Bless!

We picked up a few while sacalait fishing in the Reserve this morning. We caught 6 sacalait 6 perch 2 bass and 2 big catfish . If you were to go in their with worms you could fill up a 5 gallon bucket in an hour or two

Caught them on nightcrawlers or those skinny wigglers? I caught a few in westwego last weekend on nightcrawlers but they were small. I only got about 10 keepers. I was still happy to be out there having fun and enjoying the bayou wilderness
